I know I said I was going to make TWD plush next, but I needed a break from complex plushies, so I've spent the last couple of days playing around with some simple ones instead. Super simple.

In other semi-related news, the lovely [info]isthataquestion reminded me that there's another Supernatural convention here soonish and Mr. Collins will again be in attendance and.... now all I can think about is whether I should make a Castiel plush and take it and get him to sign it. And possibly shell out to get a professional photo of him & it (instead of him & me - I have one of those already). And then my brain tells me this would be weird. Would it be weird? I don't even know if HUB would allow it. I don't even know if I could afford it; the first/last convention I went to cost me $2,000 in airfares, tickets and accommodation. Er, and a teeny bit of spending money. XD  I don't know people; urges, I is having them.

After much fretting and discussing with friends, I decided to put the plushies up on ebay rather than etsy for many reasons that I won't bore you with -- this post is going to be long enough. ^__^

If you're interested, I don't think they're showing up on ebay search yet so here's direct links for John, Sherlock (pill), Sherlock (riding crop), and Sherlock (purple shirt & skull).  They're up for three days. Let me know if the links don't work? ^_^ I've set to post them internationally so you should be able to log in to ebay.com (or .whatever) and go from there instead of ebay.com.au. In theory.

And now, pics!

This entry is going to be morbidly obese in the picture department. Consider yourself warned. )

In the past when I've sent plushies, I've never really known how to package them, so I end up just putting them in a plastic bag (for protection) and putting them in their box for posting. But I was inspired by the ever-amazing [info]me_maneuver (who sent me the most amazing gift) to try and step it up a bit because her packaging is phenomenal.

So if/when plush Sherlock (and Sherlock and Sherlock) and John find new homes, this time they will be arriving in style.

Pretty packaging pics past this point. )

I am going to apologize in advance for the less-than-stellar photos. My camera is being a bit of an ass these days. I do think perhaps it's dying. Also in advance I am going to say these guys are on etsy (Sherlock | John) if anyone is interested .. and a post about future versions will be appearing shortly.

But for now ... pics!

Boooored! )

Comments, as always, welcome and appreciated! ♥
Please don't repost to tumblr, he's already there.

Guess Who's finished?

I'm not his date. )

Oh. And if you are a fan of super shiny things, you might want to head over to tumblr where you could score a hand crafted leather MCR mask made by the ridiculously talented [info]me_maneuver   too late!

I could never work as a mass-producer of anything. All three Lassiter plushies have turned out so differently, and this guy, #3, is the most different of all. I think it's partly because I had to use different materials and partly because it's been such a long time since I made the first two, I am so out of the loop; I almost forgot to add his badge and belt until I looked at the pics of version 2. *face palm*

I'm sending him your way on Monday, [info]ditchwitchbitch, hopefully he's still "Lassie" enough, otherwise, um, you could maybe track down Tim O. again and ask to trade?? lol.

Head Detective Carlton Lassiter ...the third. )

Inspired by a prompt on [info]sherlockbbc's Make Me A Monday post, I made a vid. Couldn't help it; I needed to do something beside wring my hands and curse certain writers.

One more miracle Sherlock, for me.. )
